Who We Are
Here for You Since 2008
For more than 15 years, ASAP has worked with teens, young adults, and families by providing CARF-accredited treatment for substance use and mental health challenges.
ASAP offers several treatment programs for young people with behavioral health issues. Our programs are designed to help guide clients and their support partners through the challenges, frustrations, and setbacks that are a natural part of recovery. ASAP programming teaches young people and parents (or other significant others) behavioral skills to achieve recovery from mental health and addiction problems.
Teen Treatment Programs
Our teen programs are designed with the mission of Guiding Teens and Healing Families.
TRIP (Substance Use IOP)
The TRIP intensive outpatient program delivers structured treatment helping teens build a foundation for lasting sobriety. Through evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention, teens develop essential recovery skills and healthy coping strategies.
The program includes regular drug screening and introduces teens to mutual support groups like Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and SMART Recovery. ASAP emphasizes strong family engagement as a core component of successful treatment. Family members and other caregivers are actively involved in the recovery process.
Upon completion of the TRIP program, teens are encouraged to attend weekly Continuing Care meetings to maintain their sobriety in a supportive, teen-focused environment. Our dedicated treatment team provides effective group facilitation, regular progress monitoring, and recovery coaching throughout the journey.
Clarity Intensive (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)
Clarity Intensive is an evidence-based Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program designed to help teens with significant emotional and behavioral disorders. Through structured treatment and family involvement, teens participate in group skills training to develop essential emotional regulation and coping strategies.
Skills training covers five core DBT modules: mindfulness (skills for focus and relaxation), distress tolerance (coping in times of crisis), interpersonal effectiveness (skills for healthier relationships), walking the middle path (seeing situations from multiple perspectives), and emotion regulation (managing intense emotions effectively). Our experienced clinicians guide participants through these therapeutic techniques in a supportive environment. The program provides 9 hours of direct service weekly through group therapy, which is proven especially effective for teens due to peer feedback and behavioral modeling.
Teens who complete the Clarity Intensive program are encouraged to attend weekly Continuing Care meetings to maintain and strengthen their use of effective behavioral skills, ensuring lasting progress.
Substance Abuse Education
In addition to the IOP program, we also offer a brief education group, called CHOICES. The CHOICES program is an option for teens who have experimented with alcohol or other drugs but do not have a diagnosable problem at the time of their assessment.
Young Adult Treatment
PIVOT is a specialized substance use intensive outpatient program designed specifically for young adults ages 18-26. At this pivotal life stage, clients often find themselves caught between adolescent and adult treatment models that don’t address their unique challenges. PIVOT was created to bridge this gap, offering evidence-based treatment that acknowledges both the newfound independence and emerging responsibilities of young adulthood.
With flexible scheduling to accommodate work and education commitments, PIVOT helps young adults find recovery while developing the decision-making skills essential for successful adulthood. Our CARF-accredited program combines professional clinical support with peer connection, creating a powerful environment for transformation.
