Need Immediate Help In An Emergency?
If you or a loved one is in immediate physical danger, calling 911 and talking with police may be necessary. You can also call 988, which is an emergency number specifically for mental health crises. It is important to notify the operator if someone is having a psychiatric emergency and ask for officers or staff who are trained in crisis intervention or able to assist people experiencing a psychiatric emergency. You may need to provide information about their diagnoses and current treatment. This will facilitate the best interaction possible.

To reach mobile crisis in Hamilton County for an adult or child, dial (513) 584-5098. Mobile Crisis is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 12:00 am and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
Psychiatric Intake Response Center (PIRC) at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital
