TRIP PROGRAM CLINICAL LEAD

Stan Reid brings over 25 years clinical experience to ASAP, having worked in several treatment facilities throughout the Tri-State. He has been a certified substance abuse counselor assistant since 1997, and before working with clients with addictions, he worked at Emerson North Hospital with adolescents and adults with psychiatric disorders.

Prior to coming to ASAP, Stan was the intake coordinator for a local treatment program and was instrumental in their program development. He has helped develop treatment and discharge protocols for multiple DUI offenders. In addition to his work with ASAP, Stan is a guest speaker on substance abuse and recovery at Prospect House and New Directions. his unique approach to treatment combines knowledge, experience, humor, and insight, while always placing the client’s recovery and wellbeing as the first priority.
