Best Practices

Not all Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment programs are created equally. ASAP focuses solely on teens and their families. We also engage in all 9 Best Practices for SUD Treatment.
Best Practices: 9 Key Elements: Assessment, Approach, Family Involvement, Tailored to Teens, Client Retention, Qualified and Caring Staff, Sensitivity to Differences, Follow Up with Clients, Outcome Surveys

Incorporating Best Practices

Operating with best practices allows ASAP to be confident in the treatment we provide. We’ve designed our facility around teens and their families. Utilizing all 9 best practices for SUD treatment has earned ASAP certifications from CARF at each of our surveys.

From our intake process through our Continuing Care program, ASAP is a model for effective, caring treatment. Our clients and their parents give feedback during and after treatment to ensure that we are meeting our goals.

ASAP encourages clients to continue in established relationships with individual clinicians. We want to add SUD treatment when needed, rather than replacing what is helping. When clinicians recognize that clients would benefit from more intensive treatment, we can work with them. We offer families a Release of Information in order to communicate with our patient’s clinicians.
